Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is used to manage musculoskeletal and nervous system conditions. Our therapists facilitate a comprehensive treatment plan for motor vehicle accident injuries, sport or workplace injuries, post-op surgeries, and patients suffering from other musculoskeletal or neurological conditions. Our goal is to establish an effective and individualized multidisciplinary treatment plan to increase physical function and independence.

What do Physiotherapists Do?

Our registered Physiotherapists use a variety of treatment and preventative approaches to get you back to normal activities of daily living. Our therapists use hands-on-treatment, including manual therapy to stretch stiff joints and release the tightness of muscles, interferential current (IFC) to accelerate the healing process, other modalities such as Ultrasound, and individualized exercise programs to incorporate in your daily routine. The physiotherapists involve you in your recovery, helping you achieve self-awareness about your overall well-being in order to prevent future injuries. More importantly, they will help educate you about preventative measures.
